Begginers classes
What will I learn in our Beginners and Fundamentals classes?
These are great classes to learn the basics of kickboxing. In these classes you will learn how to defend and execute basic kickboxing techniques such as; roundhouse kicks, sidekicks, jab, cross etc. You will also learn the skills unique to Sanda kickboxing such as how to perform basic wrestling and throwing techniques and how to merge striking and wrestling skills. This will also include instruction on how to fall properly and safely so you do not hurt yourself or others.
You will learn these techniques through pad work, partner drills and shadow boxing. All classes begin with an extensive warm up to get you ready for the dynamic movements of kickboxing, we will then lead you through various Sanda kickboxing techniques before cooling down to finish the beginners class.
Intermediate classes
What will you learn in our intermediate classes?
Once you develop your basic kickboxing skills in our beginners kickboxing classes, you will have an exciting opportunity to advance into our intermediate kickboxing classes. In these specialized classes, you will learn a diverse range of more advanced Sanda Kickboxing techniques and methodologies, which will allow you to further refine and elevate your abilities. Additionally, you will have the chance to build upon the foundational skills you have already developed, thereby enhancing your overall proficiency, skills, and confidence in the sport as you progress.
Junior Classes
What will you learn in our Junior classes?
A Sanda kickboxing class for young teenagers and pre-teens is a dynamic and engaging experience. The class focuses on providing a solid foundation in martial arts while tailoring the instruction to suit their unique learning needs. The core framework of Sanda kickboxing, including striking techniques, kicks, and defensive manoeuvres, is introduced in a structured and progressive manner. Our knowledgeable instructors play a vital role in guiding and motivating young students, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and support.
Childrens Classes
What will you learn in our Childrens classes?
In our Kung Fu classes we offer a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on various aspects of martial arts training. Each session begins with a warm-up, which includes stretching exercises and cardiovascular activities to prepare the body for physical exertion. Children then learn the fundamental movements of Kung Fu, including stances, strikes, kicks, and blocks. These basic techniques serve as the building blocks for more advanced skills. As students progress, they are taught how to apply these movements in partner drills, where they learn coordination, timing, and control. Additionally, sparring sessions are incorporated to provide a practical application of their skills, enabling them to develop speed, agility, and strategy.
